Cheese balls are classic comfort food, and it’s no question why: chewy, gooey, warm, and covered in breadcrumbs, cheese balls are delicious as an appetizer or afternoon snack! Cheese balls are great for group gatherings or football game nights because they’re so easy to make in large batches. And it’s time to elevate your traditional cheese balls with these Fried Farro Cheese Balls, using Bob’s Red Mill Organic Farro! We all know onion rings pair beautifully with cheeseburgers, but sometimes we don’t want big, messy cheeseburgers. Introducing the newest thing in easy comfort food: cheeseburger onion ring bombs! Stuff ground beef with some shredded cheese, wrap in a ring of onion, coat in breadcrumbs, and fry! For an additional kick of crispy spice, use HIPPEAS Sriracha Sunshine as your breading rather than traditional bread crumbs. These cheeseburger onion ring bombs are easy to make and delicious to eat, and the clean-up is so much easier than cooking an entire burger! Win, win, win!

6. Hot & Spicy Pickles

We all crave pickles as a late-night snack, but sometimes pickles on their own don’t quite hit the “comfort food” spot. Luckily, we’ve found a way to spice up these pickles for a snack that is sure to hit all your late-night cravings! Even better, it’s so easy to make! Open your favorite jar of pickles and empty out some of the pickle juice so that there is room in the jar. Pour in Slap Ya Mama Cajun Pepper Sauce and put the lid back on. Shake the jar up to disperse the sauce all over the pickles. Allow the pickles to sit in the sauce for eight hours, or overnight, and enjoy! You can enjoy these pickles straight out of the jar, or add to your favorite burger or sandwich to spice it up a bit. These spicy pickles are so good, you’ll never go back!

7. Mushroom French Dip Sandwich

fall

Looking for a Meatless Monday comfort food? We’ve got just the meal for you! This Mushroom French Dip Sandwich is easy to make and the mushrooms will fill you up and keep you fuller for longer. Saute mushrooms and onions in butter over low heat until the mushrooms are soft and the onions are caramelized. Pour in white wine and cook down with the mushrooms and onions until absorbed. Transfer the mushroom saute to a baguette or bread of your choice, and, using the same pan, begin making the dipping sauce. Pour water and Yondu Vegetable Umami into the pan and cook until warm. Simply pour the sauce into a dipping bowl, and melt some cheese on top of your mushroom mixture. Dip your mushroom sandwich into your Umami sauce bite by bite and enjoy! This might just be your new favorite go-to sandwich!

8. Pork Rind Nugs

Fall 2021 Cooking Panda

This wouldn’t be a comfort food list without chicken nuggets! It’s time to elevate our all-time favorite snack, so we did just that! No more trips to the drive-through, you can make these delicious nuggets right at home, all in the air fryer! Begin by cutting the chicken into bite-size pieces, and, using a blender, blend PigOut Pigless Pork Rinds: Nacho Cheese until fine-textured. Dip these chicken pieces into flour, egg mixture, and into the pork rinds. Pop these nugs into the air fryer and patiently wait for the nugs to cook all the way through! Now all that’s left to do is enjoy your cheesy, air-fried nugs dipped in your favorite dipping sauce!
