Cheesy Tuna Pasta Bake

Ingredients

2 cans 5oz Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore Tuna in Water, drained

3/4 pound small pasta such as fusilli

1/2 cup frozen peas

4 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup flour

2 1/2 cups of milk

1 cup of cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon dijon mustard or dry mustard powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 can of corn drained

4 green onions, thinly sliced

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Add the peas for the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook 2 minutes. Add the milk whisking in slowly to combine. Bring to a boil and allow sauce to thicken slightly. Add half the cheddar cheese and mustard, let melt. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper. Stir in tuna, corn and green onion to the sauce. Next, add in the pasta and peas, combining gently. 

Preheat the broiler. Pour mixture into a lightly greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Broil for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.

Tuna And Brown Rice Jalapeno Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 can Bumble Bee® Prime Fillet® Albacore Tuna with Jalapenos & Olive Oil
  • 1 cup brown rice, cooked
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • Directions

    1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    2) In a large bowl, mix together brown rice, cheddar cheese, egg and Bumble Bee® Prime Fillet® Albacore Tuna with Jalapenos & Olive Oil.

    3) With your hands, roll mixture into bite-sized balls. Roll in panko bread crumbs and place on a baking sheet.

    4) Bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Serve and enjoy!

    Colorful Wreath

    Materials

  • 1 foam wreath
  • Pins
  • Colorful cupcake liners
  • Ribbon
  • Instructions

    1) Cut around the bottom of the cupcake liners, making essentially a long piece of paper.

    2) Carefully pin liners to the foam wreath. Continue until the entire wreath is covered.

    3) Hang with a ribbon and enjoy your creation!

  • 1 can Bumble Bee® Prime Fillet® Albacore Tuna with Ginger, Soy and Olive Oil
  • Romaine lettuce leaves
  • 2/3 cup shredded carrots
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Directions

    1) Place a large spoonful of Bumble Bee® Prime Fillet® Albacore Tuna with Ginger, Soy and Olive Oil onto each lettuce leaf. Top with shredded carrots and sesame seeds.

    2) Serve and enjoy!

    Washi Paper Coasters

    Materials

  • 1 (4.5-by-4.5-inch) tile
  • 1 piece washi paper
  • Clear-drying glue/sealer
  • Paint brush
  • Instructions

    1) Place tile on the back of washi paper. Trace around the tile, adding flaps to cover the sides. Carefully cut out the traced area.

    2) Brush the back of the washi paper with glue/sealer. Allow to dry.

    3) Brush the front of the tile with glue/sealer and stick to the back of the washi paper, folding over the flaps on the sides. Brush the front of the coaster with glue/sealer. Let dry.

    4) Once dried, you’ve got an adorable coaster!

  • Freshly sliced bread
  • 3 avocados, diced
  • Lemon juice, to taste
  • Directions

    1) Toast bread until golden brown.

    2) In a bowl, mash avocados. Mix in Bumble Bee ® Prime Fillet ® Albacore Tuna with Pesto & Olive Oil. Add lemon juice to taste.

    3) Spread avocado and tuna on toasted bread. Serve and enjoy!

    Rope Vase

    Materials

  • Empty coffee can
  • Rope
  • Hot glue gun
  • Instructions

    1) Wrap the rope around the coffee can, gluing as you go. Make sure to press firmly on the rope so it’s securely glued.

    2) Allow to dry completely.

    Jalapeño Tuna Quesadilla

    Ingredients

  • 1 can Bumble Bee Seafood’s Jalapeño & Olive Oil Albacore Tuna Prime Fillet
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup Mexican Cheese, shredded
  • Directions

    1) Heat oil in pan.

    2) Add tortilla to pan and top with cheese. As cheese starts to melt, add Jalapeño & Olive Oil Albacore Tuna Prime Fillet to half of the quesadilla. Allow the cheese to melt more, then flip the quesadilla over itself.

    3) Serve and enjoy!

    Bumble Bee Embroidery Napkin

    Materials

  • Small embroidery hoop
  • Cotton napkin
  • Embroidery needle
  • Embroidery thread
  • Scissors
  • Instructions

    1) Secure napkin into hoop. Measure out about 16 inches of thread and separate out 2 strands.

    2) Knot the end of one side of the thread and slip other end into needle.

    3) Embroider a bumble bee using the running stitch.
