Applebee’s Is Selling Beer For Just $2!
By Cooking Panda
In 2017, Applebee’s served up dollar deal specials left and right. In case you missed it, the neighborhood bar and grille chain sold “Dollaritas” all day, every day for the entire month of October. Followed by a gratuitous and exceedingly boozy $1 Long Island Iced Tea for the month of December.
To ring in the new year, Applebee’s is now serving up more booze dressed provocatively in a bang-for-your-buck deal.
Beginning Jan. 1, Blue Moon draft beers will go for $2 a pop at participating locations as part of a new promotion. Deals like this only come once in a … you know. Two bucks get you a 10-ounce draft of wheat beer garnished with a fresh orange peel.
The promotion comes in time for an actual blue moon (when there’s a full moon twice in one month) on Jan. 31. Applebee’s promotional page writes, “So if you’re in the neighborhood under this blue moon — it’s this January — grab a friend or two for a beer or two.”
Wheat beers are typically sipped in the summer, but a light beer like Blue Moon — with hints of coriander and oats — goes down nicely when paired with Applebee’s returning all-you-can-eat deal on riblets, and this time with chicken tenders as an option. For $12.99 you can order endless plates of riblets or chicken tenders, plus bottomless refills of fries.
Chicken tenders come with honey Dijon mustard sauce for dipping, while riblets come with your choice of honey barbecue or spicy Texas sauce. Both come with an order of cole slaw and endless fries. Choosing is hard, but you don’t have to — riblets and chicken tenders mix-and-match option lets you start with one and refill another.
Riblets and tenders might be unlimited, but the window of opportunity is not — act fast, grab a plate, and another and another. Price, participation and availability will vary by location, so be sure to check if your local Applebee’s is participating.
Drinking a Blue Moon under an actual blue moon is not a bad way to start the first month of the new year.Applebee's all you can eat
