  1. Slice chicken into strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk buttermilk and hot sauce. Add the seasoned chicken and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In another large bowl, add flour, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove chicken from the buttermilk mixture and pat dry. Dip each piece of chicken in the flour mixture, then back into buttermilk mixture and back into flour mixture. Place breaded chicken on a baking sheet until all pieces are coated.
  5. Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. When the oil reaches 325 degrees Fahrenheit it is ready to use. Working in batches, drop the chicken into the hot oil and cook until golden brown, about 15-18 minutes.
  6. While the chicken is cooking, mix all ingredients in the hot chicken seasoning in a bowl, then slowly whisk in hot oil.
  7. Once all chicken is fried, toss in the hot chicken oil.
  8. Make waffles from a whole package of Farin’UP Waffle Mix.
  9. To serve, top two waffles with 2-3 pieces of hot chicken. Drizzle honey on top and enjoy!
