Homemade Chai Latte

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1/2 cup steamed milk

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 - 2 teaspoons sugar, or your favorite tea sweetener

  • 2 teaspoons Republic Chai

  • Dash of cinnamon

1) Pour all ingredients except steamed milk into a saucepan. Place over medium heat. Allow to heat until small bubbles appear around the perimeter of the milk. Stir the chai, scraping the bottom to avoid scalding the milk. When the milk comes to a boil, turn off the heat and stir well. Allow to steep for a few minutes.

2) Strain carefully into a cup. Pour into a large mug or heat-proof glass. Top with steamed milk and a dash of cinnamon.
