  • 1 box fudge chocolate cake mix

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
    2. In a bowl, combine together chocolate cake mix, 1 beaten egg and softened butter. Mix until a thick dough is formed.
    3. Press dough firmly and evenly into greased baking dish.
    4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg, sour cream and vanilla extract until smooth and combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
    5. Pour cheesecake mixture over cake mix, spreading out evenly.
    6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until cheesecake begins to brown around the edges.
    7. Remove from oven and cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
