Ingredients
  • FOR THE CARNE ASADA:
  • 2 limes, juiced (about 1/4 cup)

  • 1 medium orange, juiced (about 1/4 cup)

  • 1/4 cup beer

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 pound flank or skirt steak

  • FOR THE CARAMELIZED KIM CHI:
  • 1/4 cup kimchi, diced

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons LA MORENA Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce (use 7-ounce can)

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar

  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons LA MORENA Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce

  • Frozen french fries (or homemade)

  • FOR THE TOPPINGS:
  • Onions, diced

  • Cilantro, chopped

  • Cheddar cheese, grated

  • Sesame seeds

    1. To make the carne asada, combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix together to combine. Place the beef in a large resealable bag and add the marinade. Mix together and place in the refrigerator for 8-24 hours.
    2. Grill the beef or cook it in a pan until it reaches the desired temperature. Set aside.
    3. Cook the french fries according to package instructions.
    4. In a saute pan, combine ingredients for caramelized kimchi. Cook over medium heat until liquid evaporates and kimchi becomes caramelized.
    5. To make the sauce, combine mayonnaise and minced LA MORENA Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce. Mix until combined.
    6. To serve, layer the fries, beef, caramelized kimchi, cheese, onions, cilantro, and sauce. Enjoy!
