Balsamic Strawberries

  • 1 pint of strawberries

  • ¼ cup of aged balsamic vinegar

  • ¼ cup of orange juice

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • ½ tsp vanilla

    1. Wash and slice strawberries into small bite-sized pieces. 
    2. Pour balsamic, maple syrup, orange juice, and vanilla into a saucepan. Bring to boil and let simmer for 5 minutes to slightly thicken. Pour over strawberries in a jar or in a bowl. Cover and let sit in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour to marinate. 
    3. Serve over yogurt with granola, or ice cream. Will keep in the fridge for 3 days in a jar.
