March 7, 2017, is National Pancake Day! Woohoo!!

Fans of the fluffy buttermilk breakfast treat are in luck, because there are a lot of deals to be had today!

Dine in at IHOP between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. (and 10 p.m. at some locations), you can score one free -- yes FREE -- short stack of flapjacks, which normally cost $4.79.

The pancake chain is hoping to score some donations that go to good causes, like Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Shriners Hospitals for Children, although there is absolutely no obligation or strings attached to your free meal.

"Every pancake served on IHOP National Pancake Day has a purpose, and every penny raised goes a long way in making a meaningful, and lasting, impact on so many kids and families in our communities," IHOP President Darren Rebelez said in a news release, according to USA Today.

They are hoping to raise around $3.5 million to go toward curing diseases that affect children and families. IHOP has raised a total of $24 million for organizations dedicated to the health and well-being of young people since the first National Pancake Day in 2006.

Want more than a single stack? Score as many pancakes as you can fit in your belly with all-you-can-eat flapjacks for $4 at most Denny's locations.

Here are some more sweet deals for the day, courtesy of Go Banking Rates:

Friendly's: From March 6-10, enjoy 50 percent off your breakfast, including the restaurant's featured cinnamon bun pancakes.
