Twitter Outraged Over Poorly Executed Mac And Cheese (Photo)
By Cooking Panda
Screwing up an “unscrewable” dish is unlawful, especially so in Twitter territory. A culinary mix-up merits a good Twitter roasting (pun?).
One user presented this photo (below) as evidence to a jury, which later included celebrities and social media personalities.
Look at the macaroni & cheese my coworker brought to our potluck today. Bruh. pic.twitter.com/TJ494IFjy5

“Look at the macaroni & cheese my coworker brought to our potluck today. Bruh” the tweet reads. Pictured is either a sorry excuse for mac and cheese, a crucial misstep in the recipe instructions, or both. As the user described later, her coworker “literally poured cooked macaroni into a pot & put shredded cheese on top with not an ounce of seasoning.” But as one person pointed out, it is macaroni and there is cheese. “It’s like mac and cheese are on a first date. I do not want to meet mac and cheese on a first date,” another Twitter user wrote.
More Twitter critics materialized with their best roasts at the ready within minutes of the original tweet, which received over 11,000 retweets and close to 37,000 likes.
Writer/Producer Ava DuVernay wrote, “I think you have grounds to file a workplace grievance.”
“Some type of talent,” Restaurateur and TV personality Eddie Huang tweeted. And that’s coming from a chef.
Social media activist, DeRay Mckesson asked, “when is she going to actually cook it tho?!”
Another user offered her recommendation to “Tell Brenda she needs to report to HR for her exit interview.”
Sports writer Morgan Campbell wants nothing to do with it, tweeting later “I would go home. This Mac n Cheese creates an unsafe work environment.”
It doesn’t stop there. Twitter users shared their experiences with half-attempted potluck meals.
Another person tweeted, “This reminds me of a coworker who brought us ‘cornbread’ which was literally just bread but with random kernels of corn baked into it.” She later added, “He quit three days later and I think the two must be related.”
