Ingredients

Let's talk about pizza.

It's one of those foods that truly seems to have the ability to please everybody, no matter your dietary restrictions. Whether you're a fan of the regular slice, or need to sub gluten-free crust, or even if you're a vegan, there is a wonderful version of pizza out there just waiting to please your taste buds.

Of course, different folks have different preferences, and sometimes pizza toppings can cause heated debates between friends and family alike: especially when it comes to things like pineapple on pizza (people get so heated!) or anchovies.

But this version of pizza perhaps has the ability to gross out any and all who encounter it.

We're talking mayonnaise-and-pea topped pizza, ya'll.

Yikes!

On Feb. 27, 2017, a Twitter user took to the social media app to share a picture of his disgusting abomination of a meal, complete with this disturbing caption:

"Peas and mayonnaise pizza?! Yes please."

Why oh why are you doing this to us!

Responses to his Tweet have been savage, which is to be expected. Peas might be acceptable to some on pizza, but the addition of mayonnaise is truly grossing out loads of pizza-lovers.

"What in the hell is wrong with you?" asked one distraught Twitter user.

"Maybe he's pregnant," theorized another.

"Of all the things that broke my spirit today this broke it the most," said another extremely disheartened Twitter user in response to the pizza.

As of Feb. 28, more than 1,000 people have responded to the upsetting photo.

What do you think? Would you ever dare to take a bite out of this pizza?
