Ingredients

Sweet and salty, crispy and creamy, melty and full of cinnamon swirl is the Missouri Kauffman Stadium's new belt-busting invention: the Cinnamon Roll Ice Cream Sandwich with Bacon.

This breakfast-meets-dessert triple whammy comes together with a warm cinnamon roll that is cut in half, filled with vanilla ice cream and generously topped with bits of candied bacon. The final product is dusted with powdered sugar and crowned with a strawberry, nature's sole contribution to this absurdly sugary, albeit genius, game-day eat.

Baseball fans, hopefully armed with a tall stack of napkins and a lot of stomach real estate, began buying and photographing the sandwiches in June in utter awe, according to Metro.

The sandwich probably wouldn't give you the energy to play ball, but it could definitely prepare you for a full day of spectating comfortably in your seat. It clocks in at 1,770 calories, but one Twitter user noted you could still eat the whole thing and be in good shape for the day (kind of).

Not heading to a Royals game any time soon? The ice cream sandwich is easy enough to make at home if you have the ingredients.

This isn't the first time Kauffman has blown up the internet with its headline-worthy concessions. We're talking about the creators of the bacon-wrapped, tempura-fried hot dog, here.

"Every year, we try to introduce something new that will enhance the game-day experience," Carl Mittleman, a president overseeing Kauffman concessions, told The Kansas City Star.

That means sports viewers can find far more than popcorn and peanuts at halftime, especially this year.

The 2017 Kauffman menu includes the Pork Patty Melt, which sounds standard but is quite the opposite. The "bread" is a funnel cake, and it's piled high with barbecue pulled pork, shredded cheese, fried onions, coleslaw and a skewered jalapeno popper for a photo-worthy touch.

Then there's the Sunrise Dog, which gained attention on social media for being straight-up ridiculous. It's a hot dog with a fried egg, bacon and sausage gravy. The Chicken Bacon Smoke Stak, another meat bomb, is a layered concoction of waffle fries, smoked chicken, bacon cream sauce, red pepper relish and sour cream.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Whether you buy a ticket to a Royals game solely for the food or try to recreate these monstrosities at home, rest assured that Kauffman Stadium will be responsible for many more viral food stories to come.
