Good things  — like sales boosts — come in small packages.

That seems to be Starbucks' summer philosophy, anyway, because as of May 16 the coffee chain is bringing back its blended Frappuccino drinks in "Mini" sizes.

You may remember them from their grand debut last summer, when Starbucks rolled out their Mini-Frapps for a limited time. Although participating stores only offered them for the summer, Starbucks President and Chief Operating Officer Kevin Johnson told Wall Street analysts that Mini Frappuccinos (among other beverage innovations) added to sales growth for the spring quarter's results and were also performing ahead of expectations, as reported by Fortune.

According to last year's Consumerist post, a standard Mini has 120 calories and 24 grams of sugar, less than the 180 calories and 36 grams of sugar in a tall; therefore, you can still enjoy your favorite flavor for approximately two thirds of the calories.

The Mini-Frapps are at most $0.30 cheaper than Starbucks’ normal smallest size drink (the 12 oz “Tall”) and measure out to 10 ounces. Other than the slight price and weight difference, there is essentially no difference between the Mini-Frapps and their traditional, larger counterparts; Mini-Frapps are available in all the same flavors.
