Ingredients

Oreo Cookie Dough is real, and you might find yourself eating it very soon.

The Cookie Dough Cafe, a lovely company that does just what you'd think -- sells edible cookie dough in a variety of different flavors -- whipped up the stuff, and you can find it on shelves at Chicago-based grocery store Mariano's, according to an Instagram post from The Junk Food Aisle.

If you don't live in the Chicago area, don't fret! There are so many other ways to eat the stuff.

If you don't have a Mariano's near you, you can order it online from The Cookie Dough Cafe's website for $22-$36 for packs of two, three and four, though you may also need to pay high shipping costs, depending on where you live. (To send it out to California, for instance, you'll be paying around $20.)

"Gourmet edible cookie dough," The Cookie Dough Cafe says in their description of the magical creation. "Creamy, delicious, and loaded with chunks of Oreo cookies. Delicious paired with ice cream or enjoyed straight from the jar. This product does not contain eggs, and is specifically made to eat unbaked, so grab a spoon and dig right in! Eat it! Don’t Bake it!"

Still, $20 shipping might be a bit much, so you might want to stock up and order bulk shipments -- share with your friends!

Of course, if you're so inclined to save a little money and find yourself with a fun project, you can also make your own version of this eggless edible dough in just five minutes by mixing together butter, powdered sugar, milk, heat-treated flour, white chocolate chips, Oreos, salt and vanilla! As for me? I think I'll do both -- make my own and order a shipment of it.
