Pickle lovers, listen up!
In what is definitely either the most wonderful or most disgusting thing in the world — depending on your pickle opinions — a California baseball team has unleashed a beautiful new abomination upon the world, and it’s called a Chickle, according to Sports Illustrated.
What is a Chickle, you ask? Take a look:

Yes, that’s right: The Chickle is a big pickle split open like a hot dog bun and filled to the brim with chunks of Nashville hot chicken that offers a sweet, spicy and salty crunch.
The Fresno Grizzlies unveiled the ultimate way to prove the depths of your depravity — er, I mean the depths of your love for the sweet and sour brined cucumbers.
How did this heavenly monstrosity come to be? The culinary barbarians over at the Fresno Grizzlies decided to come up with a tribute to honor the Nashville Sounds, the team they played on May 17 and 18.

The not-sandwich was only officially available on those two days, but don’t despair! (Just kidding … it’s impossible not to despair at such a food perversion.) If this sounds glorious to you, you can either cross your fingers that the Chickle spreads like wildfire, or you can take matters into your own hands like a true pickle-eating champ.
The good news (?) is that this THING looks relatively easy to make. All you do is split a diseased cucumber — ahem, I mean a pickle — down the middle, and hollow out a bit of it with a spoon if you need more space. Cram it full of shredded Nashville hot chicken (recipe here) or anything your heart desires, really, and guzzle it like the animal that you are.
If you’re only a casual pickle fan, you can also make smaller pickle “sandwiches” using your favorite type of sliced pickle chips or the long strips. Fill them with tuna salad — or again, whatever you scheme up. Here’s a recipe to get you started, you pickle freak.Chickle, Fresno Grizzlies, Nashville hot chicken, pickle sandwich, pickles
