Nurse Orders Late-Night Pizza, Receives Rude Note

A nurse and his friend are outraged after receiving a rude note along with a late-night pizza delivery.
In Paris, Texas, a nurse placed an order at Domino’s Pizza at 11:55 pm while he was working the graveyard shift at Paris Regional Medical Center. The pizza arrived with a handwritten note that many perceive as rude
“We would appreciate it very much if you didn’t wait until 5 minutes before we close,” the message read.
“It was the rudest thing I’ve ever seen,” said Kerry Miller, a friend of the aforementioned nurse.
According to KTVT News, the Domino’s Pizza in question closed at midnight.
“I don’t care if they called one minute ‘til, the business is still open,” Miller said. “Service your customers.”
As nurses are trained to save lives at all hours of the day, Miller felt the message was especially rude and disrespectful.
“How would you feel if you wrote something like that and then the next day you were laying there?” Miller asked.
As the nurse was unavailable for comment, Miller was glad to speak up for his friend and for all the hardworking nurses at the Paris Regional Medical Center.
“I want to see an apology to that hospital,” he stated. “I don’t care if they have to bring a pizza to every floor, those nurses deserve something better.”
Miller published a photo of the note on social media to prevent similar occurrences from happening in the future.
Although no one associated with Paris Domino’s Pizza would comment about the incident, a company spokesperson stated that such behavior was not tolerated by the organization.
“We do not condone or encourage this kind of behavior or one-sided ‘dialogue’ with our customers,” wrote spokesperson Tim McIntyre.customer service, Domino's pizza, food delivery, Pizza, rude
