Burger King Of Ripping

Ingredients

Everybody has an opinion about Burger King's notorious new offering: the Mac N' Cheetos.

Whether you love them (or hate to love them), not many people questioned that the cheesy-food hybrid was the deranged brainchild of a corporation like Burger King -- but according to one popular food blogger, that is simply not the case.

Meet The Vulgar Chef (real name: Kyle Marcoux), the man who is claiming to be the actual creator of the Mac N’ Cheeto (among other culinary monstrosities for which he didn’t receive due credit).

"At first I was like what the f*ck? Like...you're f*cking Burger King," he told Foodbeast. "It actually is a little flattering that a company as large as BK would take an idea from a fat, drunk, illiterate food blogger who is basically an Internet food troll. Kind of sad if you ask me.”

As you can see if you visit The Vulgar Chef’s food blog, he posted a recipe for “Cheetos Crusted Mac N Cheese Fries” late in September 2015. Here’s his original photo of the creation:

Nine months later, Burger King released its version of the artery-clogging snack, only the burger magnate’s iteration was scaled for national release, and included no mention of The Vulgar Chef’s initial post.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first infraction. Per Foodbeast, The Vulgar Chef now maintains a running tally on a number of people he suspects have been plagiarizing his recipes.

"There was actually some c*** working for Buzzfeed that was ripping myself and Nick from DudeFoods off almost every fucking week," he said. "I was able to email the dude making the rip-off recipes on behalf of myself and other food bloggers and let him know how much of a f****** hack and pile of sh*t he was. Vulgar Chef - 1, Buzzfeed - 0."

"After that, any Buzzfeed recipes videos posted would tag appropriate food bloggers who inspired their s***** videos," added The Vulgar Chef.

"I've submerged myself entirely in the brand, creating something entertaining for the food world that lets me be myself, and allows me to tell those who aren't onboard to f**** off," he concluded.
