The Rock 'N Roll McDonald's, a branch of the fast food chain located in Chicago's River North neighborhood, is a popular tourist destination and one of the company's most well-known restaurant locations. McDonald's has its headquarters located in nearby Oak Park, Illinois, and this location features an exhibit of rock and roll memorobilia as well as a larger maximum occupancy and a unique design and decor.

Last Saturday, the famous McDonald's location was the site of a large fight, in which many patrons became involved. The brawl was captured by witnesses on cell phone video and subsequently uploaded to YouTube by an anonymous user. The footage depicts a group of men violently attacking a victim, hitting him repeatedly with the restaurant's aluminum chairs. The attackers then quickly flee the scene, leaving the victim on the ground. At the end of the video, one of the onlookers can be heard laughing about the incident that just occurred. The motive behind the attack is unclear.

According to the Daily Mail, the Chicago Police Department has not yet conducted an official review of the video because "there was minor property damage and no injuries reported, so there is no further ongoing investigation." Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro did confirm, however, that police were called to the McDonald's around 1 a.m. to respond to the incident. The McDonald's location also filed a criminal damage report for glass that was shattered during the attack.
