Japan's beloved Hello Kitty character is seen all over, well, everything. She's on clothes, blankets, toys, candy…you name it. But, until now, the wine market was untapped.

If you love Hello Kitty AND wine (who doesn’t?), you’re going to love her newest endeavor. According to Glamour, this line of whites and blushes has been in the making for 10 years!

Torti Winery in Italy has been in charge of making the wine after Sanrio, Hello Kitty’s parent company, tasted their wine and asked them to work together. The winery began holding grapes for production in 2007.

Varieties available in the United States are rosé, a white wine, a sparkling white made from pinot noir grapes, and a blush sparkling wine made from a combination of chardonnay and pinot noir grapes. Torti Winery is in charge of production, and they are featuring a special Hello Kitty bottle with a cute little heart on it.

The Los Angeles Times reports that you can buy the wine at California’s Antonello Ristorante, and that bottles can be bought to go. Restaurant owner, Antonio Cagnolo must be a Hello Kitty fan because he’s also planning on debuting Hello Kitty menu items to go with the new line of wines.

“We worked diligently with the Sanrio people to pick and choose the right combination of food for the special wine,” Cagnolo said.

Menu items such as Hello Kitty-shaped watermelon in a watermelon salad, a pink bowtie pasta with a four-cheese alfredo sauce and Hello Kitty shaped flourless chocolate cake are on the upcoming menu.

Unfortunately, for those of us who live too far away, we’ll have to count on looking for the wine in specialty grocery stores.
