If you were a big fan of string cheese as a snack growing up, but have grown bored or accustomed to the simplicity of flavor and profile as you've aged, then this is probably exciting news for you.

Cow Candy, a company that makes cheese sticks, announced on Feb. 28, 2017, that it has launched a whole new line of string cheeses ... ones that come in different "moogical" flavors, such as Strawberry Jack and Fruit Punch.

"Our all-star line up! Cow Candy and Bee's Cheese are moogically nutritious snacks! #GetOnTheMooove #NutritionCanBeFun," reads the tweet. But to be honest ... these new flavors sound anything but delicious.

Look, I get it: When I was in elementary school, you better believe I made a beeline for either the strawberry milk or the chocolate milk. Plain old 2 percent milk was for heathens, as far as I was concerned, or basic elementary school kids. I wanted some pizzazz with my calcium.

However, that doesn't mean that I need my string cheese to mimic an unnatural flavor too. Something about that just seems so wrong.

The new Cow Candy products are clearly inspired by the television shows  "My Little Pony" and "Transformers," and are a throwback to '90s nostalgia. They come in "Pinkie Pie Strawberry" and "Prime Punch" flavors.

And just in case you were wondering, the reviews are in and they aren't very positive.

"No. No. omg why does this exist? What child would eat this?" one Instagram user lamented.

"This looks and sounds disgusting. I know fruit and cheese pair well together, but not like this!"
