Craving State Fair Food? This Guy From Craigslist Will Deliver It To Your Door
By Cooking Panda
Look, I’m not saying this is a terrible idea, but… this is a terrible idea.
There are some people in this world that really look forward to state fairs, precisely because it provides a once-a-year excuse to go and indulge in some of the most monstrous (and, quite frankly, intriguing) culinary creations out there.
I don’t think anybody actually thinks deep-fried Oreos are a super-food; but eating them extremely sparingly at a state fair can be fun; it’s a story to tell, a new taste to experience.
But somebody out there on Craigslist wants to make state fair food available more readily. Per Tasting Table, an enterprising citizen has made the bold offer to bike-deliver hungry internet-dwellers “anything” they want to eat from the state fair, provided they are within five miles of the fairgrounds.
The ad reads:
‘Tis the season of deep fried glory
Are you craving cheese curds, but just don’t want to deal with the hassle of going to the fair?
Deep fried Oreos are calling your name,
but you don’t want to rub elbows with everyone and their great uncles.
Well lucky for you, I have a solution.
I’ll be at the MN State Fair, you text me ANYTHING you want to eat from the great MN get together
and I will deliver it to you (within 5 miles) of the fair on my bicycle.
Placing orders in advance is recommended, 20% gratuity added to total.
Either unfortunately or luckily, depending on how much you value your digestive health, the offer spans only to people within five miles of the Minnesota State Fair. Everybody else really craving deep-fried butter on a stick will have to figure it out for themselves.craigslist, deep fry, food delivery, state fair
