Burger King's Mac 'N' Cheetos sparked underwhelming reviews, but the junk-food fanatics at Taco Bell have dared to dream up a Cheeto-ey concoction of their own: the Cheetos Burrito.

Or, as Grub Street christened it, the Burcheetos.

The Cheetos Burrito is exactly what it sounds like. Customers can expect a standard Taco Bell burrito -- grilled flour tortilla filled with rice, sour cream, seasoned beef and nacho cheese -- along with (hopefully) crunchy Cheetos. Word on the street is that the rice will be made according to a new, more buttery recipe.

Taco Bell has another spicy act to follow. In 2014, Wyoming-based Taco John's served brave customers a Flamin' Hot Cheetos and chorizo burrito. Sounds like heartburn in a tortilla, but people will try anything.

Luckily, the world of Cheetos is not an unfamiliar one to the fast-food giant; in the spring, Canadians raved about Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders, filled with Crunchy Cheddar Jalapeño Cheetos.

How can the Burcheetos fare better than unsuccessful cousin Mac 'N' Cheetos? The keys to success are 1) the sufficient crunch factor of Cheetos, despite their blanketing in soggy "meat" and cheese; 2) a clear distinction between gooeyness of nacho cheese sauce and familiar zestiness of greasy orange chips; and 3) a subsequent desire to eat the burrito again, no matter what happens in the bathroom later.

The $1 burrito will begin its testing phase in mid-August in Cincinnati.
