Italian 7-Layer Dip

If you’ve ever attended a potluck, chances are, you’ve probably had seven layer dip. This traditional Mexican dip is an easy crowd pleaser with its contrasting layers of ingredients. From savory refried beans to the tart sour cream, creamy guacamole, cheese, spicy salsa, and crunchy olives and green onions, it's a dip made for almost everyone.

Pair this with salty or zesty lime tortilla chips and you’re bound to be licking the bowl clean. The best part of this dip is that it is highly customizable, so you can add in meat and/or veggies, or substitute in different types of beans or cheese. For this recipe, we’re taking a total different approach and substituting in Italian ingredients because although we love Mexican food, we also love Italian food.
