Easy Pho Noodle Soup

Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup that packs a ton of flavors – a divine mix of sweet, sour, and spice. Usually a competitor of Japan’s well-known ramen, a bowl of pho is typically made with beef broth, housing tender rice noodles and topped with a variety of meats. It takes people years to perfect the ideal flavoring of this classic Vietnamese comfort dish, but this recipe allows you to cut a few corners and achieve a copycat bowl of pho in just 30 minutes.
Some people travel to Vietnam just to try the authentic, rich taste of Vietnamese pho. Something about the rich bone broth paired with the sweetness of hoisin sauce, spice of sriracha sauce, zest of lime, crunch of bean sprouts and basil, and fall apart pieces of tender beef or chicken brings comfort and joy to our hearts every single time we indulge in a bowl of pho. It sounds like an intricate dish as the flavors are so unique, but we’re taking a few steps back and mirroring the real thing with a cheater recipe that is still as satisfying.
