• 1 50-gram pack of sesame seeds

Instructions:
1- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan.
2- Combine golden syrup, hot water and sugar in a saucepan. Make sure to use low-medium fire to prevent it from burning.
3- Shake the saucepan until a dark brown caramel forms.
4- Mix the sesame seeds into the caramel mixture.
5- Prepare and grease a baking tray.
6- Spread around 1cm thick mixture into the baking tray.
7- Let it cool approximately 10 minutes.
8- Cut into squares or rectangles.

You may also add hazelnuts while mixing the toasted sesame seeds into the caramel. This Sesame Brittle recipe serves 4 people and takes approximately 20 minutes to prepare.
