- Two eight ounce packages of (softened) cream cheese
- Two thirds of a cup of sugar
- Three large eggs
- One half teaspoon of vanilla
- Three tablespoons of sugar
- Eight ounces of sour cream
- One teaspoon of vanilla

Step 1- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Step 2- Beat the cream cheese, 2/3 cup of sugar, eggs, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla until mixture is smooth
Step 3- Pour this mixture into a greased nine inch pie plate
Step 4- Bake 22 to 25 minutes, and then turn the oven off
Step 5- Remove cheesecake and let it cool for five minutes
Step 6- Combine three tablespoons of sugar, sour cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Step 7- Spread this mixture over the warm cheesecake and place back in oven for five minutes
Step 8- Cool and refrigerate cheesecake
Yields six to eight servings, ten minutes preparation time, and eight hours inactive time to cool
