- Two thawed chicken breasts
- two cups fresh or frozen string beans
- lemon pepper
- three tablespoons of vegetable oil, olive oil or canola oil
- one small onion (optional)
- one half cup of teriyaki sauce
- 2 cups of rice (to be cooked as a side dish)
Everyone enjoys a good and satisfying meal, but no one has time to prepare one these days! Here is a simple yet satisfying meal that will take thirty minutes to prepare and five minutes to devour! The recipe is for two, but feel free to double the ingredients to feed more people, ok? Simple recipes make cooking a joy and fast preparation makes it more fun to prepare!
First, take two thawed chicken breasts, and season them with garlic pepper. Chop them into small bite sized portions.
Next, get a wok or skillet which is deep, and pour in the three tablespoons of oil. Bring the oil to a medium heat.
Once the oil is heated, put the seasoned chicken breasts into the oil. Stir the chicken, making sure it is cooking over a medium and even heat. When the chicken is cooking consistently, add two cups of frozen or fresh string beans to the cooking mixture. Let this mixture of string beans and chicken cook until the string beans are nice and tender and the chicken is completely done. Once this mixture is done, add a tablespoon of teriyaki sauce and stir it in. Turn off the heat and let the mixture sit while the rice is cooking.
While the chicken and string beans are cooking, prepare the rice. Boil two cups of water and a teaspoon of sea salt in a small pan, and when the water starts to boil, add the rice. Rice preference is a choice. Brown, minute or regular rice will do. The rice will take 12 minutes to cook.
Once the rice is done, spoon the chicken and string beans over the freshly cooked rice. Delicious!
