- 1 half of a package of Oreo cookies
- 1 8 ounce package of soft cream cheese
- 1 pound of white baking chocolate
Instructions: This OREO truffles recipe is easy to make and does not require any baking or cooking time. They make an easy dessert for parties and holiday gatherings or a quick, delicious snack for after school.
Step 1: Crush cookies by hand or with a food processor until they are like crumbs.
Step 2: Combine crumbs and soft cream cheese in a large mixing bowl, and beat with a hand mixer until they are blended and smooth.
Step 3: Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper.
Step 4: Melt the white baking chocolate until it is creamy.
Step 5: Using your hands, roll bits of the mixture into balls; they should each be about one inch.
Step 6: Dip the balls into the melted chocolate until they are covered.
Step 6: When all of the mixture has been used, place the cookie sheet into the refrigerator until the truffles are firm. This will usually take about one to two hours, but it is okay to leave them in the refrigerator for a longer period of time.
This recipe makes about 50 truffles.
