Step 1: preheat oven to 350˚ F
Step 2: line muffin pan with paper liners
Step 3: combine dry ingredients (in list, from flour to salt) by stirring briefly in medium bowl.
Step 4: in a mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes)
Step 5: beat in eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition to butter-sugar mixture.
Step 6: add lemon zest and vanilla extract.
Step 7: mixing on a low speed, mix in the dry ingredients in two additions, alternating with the yogurt, beating just until incorporated
Step 8: divide batter among prepared liners, filling each about 2/3′s full
