Grandma Burger
My nieces love burgers. Today, I made a giant burger that we shared for lunch. I was supposed to call them Auntie Burger but then again it’s too heavy I had to change it to “Grandma Burger”.
Ingredients:
Aussie ground beef
Thyme (chopped)
Parsley (chopped)
Bacon strips
Mushrooms, sliced
Cheddar cheese
Milk
Salt and pepper
Burger bun
Season the beef with salt, pepper and chopped herbs.
Melt the cheddar cheese with small amount of milk in a microwave and mix the sliced mushrooms in.
Shape the beef mixture into a quarter-pounder patty and fry with little amount of oil. Flip it to cook the other side. You don’t really have to cook it well done since it’s beef. Doing so will sometimes make the beef tough.
Put the cooked patty on the bread and spread the cheese and mushroom mix on. Top it with bacon strips and serve.
