- • 1 canister coconut milk
- • 1 canister condensed milk
- • A cup of almonds

- • 11/2litres boiling water
- • Cold water as much as needed
Summer is soon approaching and it spells drinking lots of fluids to cool the heat. Juices and water make up fast methods to quench your thirst. However, making cocktails can be fun. It is also tantalizing to ingest many nutrients in a single drink. The coconut Horchata is one refreshing tropical drink that will help you chill in the hot weather.
Step 1 – Process the rice, flakes of coconut and almonds until fine like sand in a food processor.
Step 2 – Pour the mixture in a bowl and add the boiling water while stirring. Leave the mixture to rest
for six hours to allow the water to dissolve the content from the rice, coconut flakes and almonds.
Step 3 – Using a sieve, sift the mixture twice to get the liquid.
Step 4 – Add the sweetened and coconut milk to the liquid while stirring.
Step 5 – Stir in the ice and serve.
This coconut Horchata drink serves 10 people and it takes 6 ½ hours to prepare.
