- 1 packet of phyllo dough

- • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
- • 1 cup butter
- • 1 cup water
- • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- • 1 cup sugar
- • ½ cup honey
Baklava is a very popular and delicious dessert from the Middle Eastern nations. It is believed to be a Greek pastry from the Byzantine period. Baklava recipe may be a bit time consuming, but once the right art is mastered, it becomes a very easy dish to make.
Cooking time: 30 mins serving: 24 portions
Instructions:
Step 1- Take a 9X13 inch pan and grease it properly with butter. Preheat the oven to 175 degree Celsius (350 degree F).
Step 2- Mix the chopped nuts and powdered cinnamon and keep aside.
Step 3- Stretch out the phyllo dough and cut the entire stack into half.
Step 4- place the two sheets one on top of the other in the pan and butter carefully.
Step 5- sprinkle the nut mixture in between each layer.
Step 6- bake for around 50 to 60 minutes or till the baklava is crisp and golden in color.
Step 7- to make the sauce, mix sugar with water and bring it to a boil. Add honey and vanilla.
Step 8- pour hot sauce immediately over the freshly baked baklava. Serve cold or in room temperature.

and on the nuts i would use any kind of nuts thats not salted. planters would be good
