There is a wide variety of ARMENIAN BOREG Simple recipes today. This boreg recipe is easy to make with simple ingredients. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix grated muenster cheese, cottage cheese, parsley and eggs. Lay the filo dough on the counter and cut one sheet into four lengths. Make sure to cover the remaining filo dough with damp cloth towel to keep them from drying up. Put a teaspoon of the mixed cheese on each single strip. Fold to form triangle shapes. Arrange in a cookie sheet and brush lightly with melted butter. Bake in the oven until golden brown. When cooked, they can be covered with wax paper and stored in the fridge.

For a heartier Armenian boreg, add cooked spicy ground beef. Sautee chopped onions in olive oil until golden brown. Add ground beef and chopped garlic. Cook until the meat turns brownish. Add salt, pepper, parsley and paprika and cook for another 2 minutes. You can now use this as filling for the filo dough.
