As a breakfast entree or as a dinner appetizer, mushroom quiche combine delicious buttery fluffy crusts with gooey mushroom and egg fillings that will have anyone’s mouth watering. Its ingredients are:

Roll out the dough so that it is a twelve-inch circle and will fit into a pie pan, then heat the oven to 350 degrees and heat the crust until it is golden brown. In a large pan over high heat, combine the oil with the shallots and cook for no more than one minute. Add mushrooms and seasoning and cook for another five to ten minutes until the mushrooms are dark brown. Sprinkle half the cheese on crust bottom, spread mushrooms over the the cheese and the rest of the cheese on top. Whisk milk, cream, eggs, nutmeg, and seasoning, then pour over cheese. Bake in oven for thirty minutes and let cool.
