Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pork shoulder, cut into medium sized pieces
  • 6 tablespoons BBQ seasoning
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups water
  • 1⁄2 red cabbage, thinly slice
  • 1⁄2 green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1⁄2 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons cumin
  • 3 limes, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bottle bbq sauce of your choice
  • 12 pack of slider rolls

  1. Place cut-up pork in a slow cooker and rub with BBQ seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cover with water and cook on high for 4 hours.
  2. For the cabbage slaw, in a large bowl mix red cabbage, green cabbage, cilantro, cumin, lime juice, vegetable oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir until thoroughly combined. Set aside in the fridge until meat is ready.
  3. After 4 hours, use two forks to shred the meat within the slow cooker. Add BBQ sauce and mix well.
  4. To build your slider, place a pile of pulled pork on your roll and top with cabbage slaw. You can make them a sandwich, or leave them open-faced. Serve and enjoy!
