Taco Bell is the latest company to jump on the vaccine freebie bandwagon. Similar to Krispy Kreme offering free doughnuts, Taco Bell will be offering free tacos to vaccinated guests. Not just any tacos, but seasoned beef Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos! Guests can receive a free Doritos Locos Taco.

They have to show a valid COVID-19 vaccination card at participating Taco Bell locations on June 15. On June 15, California’s mask mandate will be updated to be different for vaccinated people and unvaccinated people. Californians who are vaccinated can carry on doing things that they were doing prior to COVID-19 without a mask.

However, vaccinated people will still need to wear masks in hospitals, prisons, homeless shelters, during travel, and indoors at K-12 schools. Unvaccinated individuals will still be required to wear masks in all indoor settings. More than 70% of California adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine. But younger groups still need to be vaxxed and others still need to receive their second dose. Taco Bell has partnered with Governor Gavin Newsom as part of the Vax for the Win program to increase vaccinations in these groups.
